1600 kms range pulling oversize loads through anything, and any terrain, extreme reliability, long lasting batteries, ability to recharge in 5 hours, more charging stations, and repair shops that can work on them, a good dealership network, and less of the BS nanny crap in them, with enough power to drag 240,000 lbs up a BC mountain.

This all makes sense for long haul applications through rough terrain. But what about short routes; say between warehouses and stores inside a city. Do they make more sense then?

They should have the torque to pull. Your area the cold will hurt the range. Just like my hot area will

Probably be okay for that, once the technology for better batteries evolves, and prices go down.

    cke and DavidN Thank this.

    So is the general consensus:
Hell no for long haul routes, viable but needs better technology for shorter routes?

If they ever really get them figured out, probably be good for short drive gravel truck use.

    cke Thanks this.
