In my '06 379 36" sleeper, 3.90 rears, 18 spd, C15 625 I got 5.5-6 loaded and 8-9 empty. In this '05 379 68" sleeper with 3.70 rears, 18 spd, C15 475 I get 3.5-4.5 loaded and empty
Shawn2130 Thanks this. -
Interesting that the turned up.c15 gets such better economy than the 475. Theyre pretty close trucks.

The last truck, (Cascadia, DD15 500, 13 speed, 3:42s,) was around 8 most of the time. Combination of light and up to 43,000# in the box.
I have a picture on my phone of the last 200 miles coming out of CA once, running at 55 mph with 13,000# on, and a light cornering head wind, showing 11 mpg.Last edited: Feb 23, 2020

Avg lifetime at (2years) on this current truck, 2018 w/550 Cummy... 6.5, and run 85mph, full speed every chance i get 80k or 40k loaded...so if i was to care more about fuel use id prob be well over 7 all the time.. but that savings to me is not worth my “personal” time so i turn-n-burn lead foot...

P.S. - and I idle like 24/7... no APU
