Do you know a reputable shop to work on a b model?
Mechanical motors are different then the newer electronic ones. It doesn’t look like a 15k truck
What do you think?

This is an odd thread.
Im seeing a T600 with a 3406B. Where are you guys getting forward set front axle and V8 at?
OP, Yes the truck is probably worth 15,000. Overhauled and a wet kit.
But, are you going dirt truck trucking? If not you should pass. Dirt trucks tend to be hammered on. Plus, you wouldn't have any need for a wet kit. -

Overhaul on a CAT could be anywhere from $10k - $30k.
Worth a tire kicking look at it, if you're close. -
I like the truck. I'm not a 20 year veteran but I've owned a truck. That sleeper would be fine for me otr. If it starts easy when cold that's a good sign. B model cats can run a long time if left under 450hp. And get near 6mpg. So I was told by a owner of one 2 years ago. He had the same truck since 85 a w900b. 3 engines all lasted 1 million left at 400hp. And near 6mpg. I would bet shocks are bad. And hope it's not 8 bag ride. I hate those.
