Keeping yourself warm overnight when idling is not an option.

So, my question is in a head of a topic. What is the best solution for cabin heating during overnight sleeping in a winter time or for daytime too when you was driving all night long?

There are sleeping bags that will keep you warm to -40, just be prepared to wake up to a cab full of frost. I have German Army sleeping bag for decades exactly for this purpose. Don't depend on your engine or any other fuel source to keep you warm in event of break down, doo doo happens.

I have a sleeping bag good for -40
I have a heater but have only used it 3 nights this winter. Spend most of my time in upper Midwest.

Idle, cab heater like esper or webasto or hotel.
My health and a restful sleep is too important for anything else.

If you own the truck install bunk and engine heaters. If it’s a company truck they better have something for heat or I idle . I refuse to work for companies that base bonuses on idle time unless they have a working APu

There are diesel fired bunk heaters on Amazon for under $150, installed one in January and the driver loves it. Even if you have to replace it every year it's way cheaper than a Webasto or Espar.
