What ever happened to carpal tunnel?

i have a friend who claims that she has carpal tunnel from the computer typing classes in high school. i call bs on her because I type 100wpm, quite a LOT more than just going to high school, and.......

 

It went out of style and was replaced by the latest "malady of the month".

I'm amazed that my parents were able to function at all because they didn't even know about all of the "so called" serious physical and mental problems that the current generation suffers from...In spite of being raised in the depression and living through WW II they never had problems with...

Carpal tunnel
Depression
PTSD
Bipolar Disorder
Anorexia
or any of the other diseases and syndromes that have plagued later/weaker generations.

 

I always liked irritable bowel syndrome. When my grandfather was my age it was just that spicy foods gave you the #####.

 

Exactly....I love mexican food and sometimes it gives me the #####.
I don't go runnin' off to the doctor in a panic over it, It's just the #####!

 

Just a question on this....WHY WOULD ANYBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND "LIKE" IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME?

 

Actually, IBS is quite real......

 

So is RLS. According to doctors.

 

Eating not only spicy foods...but certain fatty foods, nuts, non-soluble fiber...can set-off IBS.....
Changing diet and implementing stress management helps to control bouts of IBS....
More women than men suffer from IBS as well....

 

This is true...just ask any married man....however, after the "B" instead of 'owel' it is generally spelled "ITCH"....when she is suffering, so do you!
