I look at it as a weakness. that's just me. If something irritates you, don't eat it. Just another reason health care is expensive. They keep making new disorders and syndromes so the doctors can get the insurance companies to pay for treatment of something that wasn't a big deal yesterday.

And you expect us to swallow that line?.......Oh this is too easy, they just keep coming!

You are only 31, give it another 20 years, and the weakness will be the sphincter just above the pooper outlet (avoiding medical terms here), along with IBS will be anal leakage due to sphincter weakness!:fart:

You really do not have a clue.

I eat basically the same type of food each day BECAUSE of it.

The problem is that on any given day, my body DECIDES it will then have an episode of IBS.

    So, your theory SUCKS.

It's part of aging. Always has been. My 90 year old grandfather will tell you the same thing. "grow some balls" is how he words it. I try to be a bit more tactful.

Well if we need treatment for everything that bothers us you would all be supporting me from my broken back in 97. Instead, I deal with it and work. I could just take the synthetic opiates and sit home in a haze but why?

    *ahem*......
What proof is there that you are not on them right now?......

You do know that Tim Hortons has been slipping in opiates into your coffee and donuts as part of Canadian Government's "Calm the masses" program.....Per the Minister of Silly Behavior Propagation....

This would explain why most of you smile when the term "socialistic society" is bandied about in polite company...

Actually, it is real. However, as far as im concerned, its a stupid designation because it really doesnt deserve its own syndrome. It's just tourettes syndrome of the legs..

Just because they didn't have a name for it, doesn't mean it didn't exist. Take for example PTSD

Over the years it has been called "shell shock" "battle fatigue" and other names. These are just a few names used dating from the first and second world wars.

Depression - A noted suffer of depression was Winston Churchill. I would hardly call him weak.

These are just a couple of examples. I suggest that you educate yourself a bit better on the topic.
