What happened to the big truck stop in Joliet IL?

The TA at Morris has DEF at the first pump from the store, only. But that means they have DEF at the pump.


I found that out for someone else because I saw that there is a port near that pump to refill the tank. Have also seen them unloading DEF.

On another note, PFJ has installed insulating covers over the pumps themselves everywhere that I run that has DEF at the pump.

Back to the original topic of the tThe construction company doing the work on those off ramps, north and southbound I-55 exit 257 is parking there equipment and trucks in the truck stop, and as long as it's been mothballed, the concrete is still pretty clear of grass and weeds.

I kind of quit going to the TA, 2 disappointments with the wait staff in a row has cured me. Whether or not the food anywhere is good or bad is up to whoever is consuming and paying for the same, IMO. No one wins those debates.

 

I went in and asked for another driver, he had given up, but he knew then for next time.
