What happened to the big truck stop in Joliet IL?

Been there once. They do have good food. When we went it was the middle of the night and it was busy.

 

all those people that want their stuff, but dont want to see the trucks that bring it. City folk..........

 

You know what people want? They want food on their table, fuel for their car, clothes on their body and crap to consume. Who brings all of that. Trucks do. So people do in fact want trucks they just don't know it.

Who's gonna deliver to those strip malls, the trucks that they don't want?

 

The TA in Morris does indeed. have. def at the first pump, and installing at least three more

 

Aww ... come on. They have the best steaks in the area and even have the sign saying so!

 

3 years after the last post and they haven't done a thing with the place. It's still a giant eye soar, but now with piles of construction debris. I live about a mile from there and pass it every day.

The problem is, it lies between both Plainfield & Joliet. It was suppose to be developed into a mixed use property, but the developer went bust.

 

And look at all the lost tax revenue that they liost in that period of time.
