A CRST just nudged my trailer while trying to pull-through the space next to me.
I ran out there in my skivvies, fortunately another driver saw what she was about to do and stopped her. Thus no damage to the trailer.
As I'm walking back to my tractor, to finish getting dressed so I can grab some breakfast, some.....some...some....DUDE comes swinging in from the front side and cut it WAY short.
I glared at him until he backed out and went away.
I'm wide awake NOW......and even though Swift has successfully negotiated the pull through next to me, I'm outta here.
Oh, by the way, after I finished typing my Chester's Chicken decision tree yesterday, the tain suddenly stopped, and the sun came out.
I went and got my chicken, got back to the truck, and the tain started again.
Every time I type a gripe on WIIS, the problem magically disappears!austinmike, JolliRoger, Feedman and 13 others Thank this. -
I will be so glad to see this project completed... Ive been trying to squeeze in time to work on it when we are slow... Its getting there.
Its an ancient trailer that was once much longer. Some time before we got it, it had been wrecked and converted to a pup. Recently the spring suspension broke... Seeing as its so old one could not get parts to repair it. So we got an air ride sliding tandem from an old dry van and had a fabrication shop remove the old running gear and install the newer tandems (no they dont slide, there are no slide rails. The slider has been modified and is welded solid to the frame.) My job has been to completely replumb the air and install fenders. The air is nearing completion... The fenders, well those aren't important... Right?
I still need to install another air tank that will be dedicated to purging hoses. Also need to connect air lines to the brake cans, 2 of which need to be replaced.BennysPennys, Feedman, LoSt_AgAiN and 11 others Thank this. -
Apparently when you are not from this country, yellow safety vest requirements are optional. Flip flopping useless turds. Go back to where you came from. We got enough useless home raised turds. I hate people. HATE.

Ok. Now something thats not beeotching.
Some observations while in Carlisle this morning. The front left corner of the Petro, to the right of the truck entrance is now fenced and paved for the Natural gas Amazon bobtail fleet. Not the OTR schmucks you see wrecked every 10 minutes.
Knight Transportation high MPG for the month. 10.6, 10.4 and 10.1. I assume thats just for that terminal.BennysPennys, LoSt_AgAiN, Dale thompson and 3 others Thank this. -
