What if it Snows?

Wouldn't be the first or even the second splitter I've built... But would probably be the best... Learned quite a bit building the first 2. First one turned out the best functionally, the second is better cosmetically. The next one will have the best of both machines.

But what I really want to build is a firewood processor. Put 7 to 10 foot logs in one end and splits of desired length (up to 18 inches) come out the other end. Can buy some cheaper ones for $15k to $20k... Figure I could probably build one for about $7k to $10k (maybe a little less if I can find the major components used or discounted due to overstock) plus my time.

 

Lol... Maybe a portion in the northern half of the state, or over near the WY border. But the vast majority of the rest of the state is rolling hills or flat with very little timber... LOTS of rocks, but very few trees.

 

Really , you think those folks are like the current generation ?

I started drawing mine at 66and8 months. SS sent me a letter that said I could draw it and keep working and no matter what I made per year it wouldn't affect my SS . Be nice if you weren't taxed on it.

 

Good luck with the the new phone. I got a new one 2 weeks ago, it'll be fine this time next year when I learn how to use everything on it

 

Ditch the chainsaw get you a 6ft 1man cross cut saw , will go well with the splitting maul
