IMG_1058.jpeg IMG_1059.jpeg IMG_1057.jpeg Spotted this coming right down Sherbrooke Street tonight, escort vehicles, police blocking front and back. There were 4 trailers with this stuff on it. They even had two spare haul trucks rolling empty at the back of the pack. I think it is for the subway, they are expanding it somewhere

Due to an UNPRECEDENTED paperwork screw up, my employer sort of.....well...."terminated my medical coverage", and......sorta.....y'know, "forgot to tell me".

So Missus Skillet and I rented a car and drove up to the very reaches of 'Sconsin in order to visit the Mother Ship in person and get this fixed. Couldn't do it over the phone because we tried that already and it didn't work.

This loss of coverage could possibly affect Missus Skillet's Medicare, according to the Medicare lady.

Anyway, we got things straightened out, and are headed back east tomorrow. Might as well take in a few sights on the way back, because my MRI for Thursday got cancelled, due to some knucklehead not faxing authorization to some other knucklehead.

This whole return to work thing might take a lot longer than I thought.

The doc told me when this whole thing started, "Ya gotta be patient, the government is involved."

    Quite...
