    Daughter lived in R/Rock, say 2005 to 2015 till cancer claimed her. Husband was a mainframe computer wizard, worked banks in Belton, then the A/American Statesmen in Austin, then VA in Austin. Wife and I visited prolly visited 2 or 3 times a year down there.
    We toured Austin with them most visits and it was a very nice place the first few years. Really enjoyed the time spent there then.
    My wife died in 2011 and I was still going down a couple of times a year and saw the decline. Must have been in 2014 whe Howard
    (SIL) sold out in R.Rock and moved to KY with my other girls. 2012 was my last time down. Was looking at some pics around Bennett Springs last nite, and a bunch of shots all over Austin. Past times...
