That's a good idea. There's a stack of those Mel Mac and Texas ware plates in community room at mom's place. Hasn't been used in many moons.

We used to Drink Water from Exterior Faucets, Garden Hoses and Well Pumps



Don't know that Bottled Water was even sold until the 90's

 

And even from the old "Flowing wells" that someone had driven a 3" galvanized pipe down into a spring and it run clear but had a little limestone taste. Always cool tho.
