Some folks get snake charmed. Then snake bit.

Mike ( neighbor with the real deal Shine ) got those installed. He's beside himself. Says it might be the single worst decision he ever made.

His electric bill has almost tripled.

It's kind of like people that watch videos on shooting considering themselves to be experts on shooting and ballistics.

That's the one I has at The Casa Del OM. Forgot to sharpen Truck Knife before I left.

They has a $5 one, then it goes up to $12 one.

They're out of the $5 one's of course.

So's........I opted for a new surgical sharp stainless steel knife for $1.75

    Only in America.

There is no excuse to missing Taco Tuesday.
One exception, massive Fiesta Friday. Has to be planned by Tuesday, so you can apply for the waiver.

I wouldn't pay some one to do it. 5k of panels, structure, wires being charged 50k for install. Can't imagine an ROI on that. Plus a lot of companies promise 20 year warranty and then go out of business 5 to 8 years in. I would do it myself. You still need a licensed electrician to hook it up. Federal credit was 30% of system as a rebate against tax owed. Thought they would have kept it in the 4k page bill. We have drunk driver technology being mandated in all new cars. Plus car kill switches being put in.

Arizona would make more sense than northern indiana. They kill off 1,000 acres at a time of grazing or farm land and cover it up. Makes no sense. West Texas for solar makes sense.

Also acquired a new Truck Towel for $2.30 since some of you make fun of the towel The OM appropriated.

I never asked where she got it from.

They (the lawyer people) are currently running ads on TV for the people who were screwed over by the solar panel cartel.

There's a natural gas fired generating station in Glendale I used to live by. Delivered there once.

In the general manager's office is a map of Phoenix and surrounded area for about one hundred(1OO) miles around.

Dude has a dot on that generating station and then a highlighted circle around the dot for pretty much the whole map.

I couldn't help but ask what the map was all about.

He said the highlighted area was the amount of area they need in solar panels to equal the output of that one power plant.

    Basically ten thousand(1O,OOO) square miles.

@Dave_in_AZ and any others so inclined....
I have been noticing that some mention greasing their own trucks. I know from my shop experience the typical gun grease in tubes is sorta soft/runny when hot/ and washes out of spring shackles. Regardless of brand, quality, great anti wear contents, or any other.

I would like for one of you to get (if still obtainable) a little 2 lb can of Texaco, Marfak #2. It is a stringy, greenish/black grease.
It was the only grease that would stay in a Lilliston bush hog in the day. Them blades went round and round and got and stayed hot.
Many bearings and much labor was expended by some who used their hay press and combine grease.

For years I see blobs of yellow soft grease hanging out of fitting areas and wonder...

Seems it is no longer available as , but the replacement seems equal... It says.
Applications • Calcium greases outperforms lithium greases in keeping the grease in place under severe applications, in wet and corrosive environments. They are suitable for marine, Fishing, agriculture, construction, off road and heavy-duty industrial applications. • Marfak EP 2 is specifically recommended for the lubrication of plain and roller bearings of steel and paper mill equipment which operate at temperatures up to +130°C. • Marfak EP 2 is also recommended for other industrial applications where an extreme pressure grease having effective water resistance is required. It is particularly good under heavy water-washing conditions where extreme pressure properties must be maintained. • Marfak EP 2 can be used for the same applications as Multifak EP 2, when no specific approvals are required.
