Hi! We just delivered a load of fresh chicken and got the signed bill of lading back with the following stamp: "Receipt of Goods. Subject to final disposition of QA". What is this? Are these clean bills or...? THANK YOU

They think it means after they open up the boxes, and if they find a problem they’re going to come back and file a claim on you.

You say too bad so sad, should’ve inspected it on site while I was there so I can witness it, who knows what happens after you leave the premises.

That only gives the customer a loophole to hit you with a claim for 1000 rotted chickens in the load if they found some... /hyperbole

I don't do stamps. I get my bills signed or I scribble the #### things.

One exception, high dollar loads. They can decorate those bills any old way they please. I just hand em to the bossman.
