What Incentives are Owner Operators looking for?

We are hiring company drivers, but having a hard time pulling in owner operators.

What is it that Owner Operators are looking for, from a company???

We would love to build our fleet and I am hoping you can help tell me some ideas of what it is that is needed to attract more...

Hi milr72 -- so any extra incentive money over the settlement amounts? additional CPM ? or ???

 

We pay 50% of the settlement that the driver brings in.....
and we offer this;

• $280,000 + annual gross average
• No Touch, Drop & Hook Freight
• Private Chassis Fleet
• Dedicated customers provide consistent freight
• 100% pay on fuel surcharge
• Onsite Certified and Trained Maintenance Team, Discounted rates
• Fuel card with Discounts
• Free Secured Parking
• On-Site Intermodal Depot and Scale
• Fleet Rate for insurance
• Passenger/Pet program

 

we do pay on percentage.... just wondering what else we can offer to bring them over....

 

Why, what do other companies pay??? what is the going rate out there??

 

OK, i just checked and I was wrong... We pay 70% of the gross settlement / that amounts to 5500 - 6000 weekly.
