Now my reefer sounds like a Honda Civic. I'm going to be in that new movie... Fast, Furious & Frozen.
What is it with reefers parking next to us flatbedders?

I'm not saying all door slamming box pullers are bad drivers...hell, I pulled a box 25 years before I moved to open deck...just saying anyone can be taught to pull a box because, for the most part, it is easier.Last edited: May 14, 2019
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
You couldn't fit a box in here unless it was a 96" with a roll up door, the dock was so narrow, you would rip your doors off. Once I was in, I couldn't open the sidebox on either side of my truck all the way...plus it was only about 60' to 65' from dock door to fence. A 53x102 wouldn't fit with a single axle daycab.
We deliver to docks so narrow, you have 2 or 3 inches on each side to spare on a 48' spread with a conestoga kit, and you have to open your kit before you set your brakes because we have auto-dump air bags, and the trailer's ### end would be too far below the dock edge to allow the tarp to bellows out if you set the brakes first.Last edited: May 14, 2019
