Now my reefer sounds like a Honda Civic. I'm going to be in that new movie... Fast, Furious & Frozen.

You missed my point. Of the crash test dummy companies (Werner, Swift and CRE), they don't have a huge flatbed fleet for a reason. Teaching the art of seat warming and steering wheel holding is mostly done in a box trailer because it's easier and more forgiving. Those three are the most notorious for their driver trainees running over stuff. When you see those huge snowstorm crash videos, what's the type of trailer most of the chrashee's are pulling...boxes...TMC and Melton are training companies but must do a better job training because you don't see the same numbers of crashes as with the big box training companies.

I'm not saying all door slamming box pullers are bad drivers...hell, I pulled a box 25 years before I moved to open deck...just saying anyone can be taught to pull a box because, for the most part, it is easier.

Try to put your 53' box in here(what you can't see, inside there are electrical plugs sticking out on each side with 1 1/2 angle iron for protection.)

You couldn't fit a box in here unless it was a 96" with a roll up door, the dock was so narrow, you would rip your doors off. Once I was in, I couldn't open the sidebox on either side of my truck all the way...plus it was only about 60' to 65' from dock door to fence. A 53x102 wouldn't fit with a single axle daycab.

We deliver to docks so narrow, you have 2 or 3 inches on each side to spare on a 48' spread with a conestoga kit, and you have to open your kit before you set your brakes because we have auto-dump air bags, and the trailer's ### end would be too far below the dock edge to allow the tarp to bellows out if you set the brakes first.
