    Me too-drove my pickup in there some years back. First time I went to Telegraph Creek was by boat up the Stikine River from Wrangell AK-quite a ride! I have since read that the Stikine is the fastest running navigable river in North America, but still less hairy than the road IMO.

    I took that picture from the cab of my truck at Kelowna in 2003. That same chopper (#747) was at Fort Mac fighting the fire up there.

    Was that one Elvis, Lucien ? Or was 738 Elvis ? I can't remember. Elvis was the one they sent to Australia twice. I think Elvis is the oldest Sky Hook they had. I think it was a 1968. I could be totally off base thoo .... it's been awhile ..........
