What is this? The previous driver left it in the truck.

    I have those types of nuts on my air cleaner in pickup , just not as big. Could be the previous driver was using it for something else a little bit less mechanical, if that's the case of burn that truck to the ground

    It’s like a bolt cover to prevent nearby battery connections from making contact with it.

    Look like a nut that holds the plastic covers over fuse box’s or electrical connections.

    The rubber nut that I have has a stop on one end. So a bolt cannot go through it.
