Do people break into trucks to steal cb’s anymore? Had a nice old style mic out the side Cobra 29 that was passed down to me stolen out of the truck back in 2003. Since that time I haven’t heard of it happening much anymore.
Seems like 2003-05 was the time cb started to die. That was around the time when personal cell phones and services became affordable for everyone. They were mostly a company supplied to an employee tool before then. -
SmallPackage Thanks this.

I still use it problem is I always have the squelch maxed out because I’m tired of “radio man” truckers constantly spouting the same old bs. “Aww trucking ain’t the same no more....#### steering wheel holders......I’ll kick your ###....I ain’t got no panties on” and they’re always negative always down talking another trucker. I have my own problems in life I don’t need your negative mojo making it worse.
DoubleO7 and frontrange Thank this. -
I just put a CB on the dash , it alerts the thieves that there isn't anything of value worth stealing in this truck .
DoubleO7 Thanks this. -
