What NOT to do at Border Patrol checkpoint

Your rights should not be infringed upon and this mean more than we all will ever know. Most of the people in this country seem like modern American conformist sons of beeches.

You have to exercise your rights every now and then to keep the cops fresh and on job.

JUST PLEASE TRY NOT TO DO IT WHILE YOU ARE WORKING! A HOLE!

You have a load to haul, You are representing a company, not just yourself. "COMPLIANCE" safety and accountability is what is expected of a PROFESSIONAL DRIVER and this Occupy Wall Street loving cont wants to go all Rosa Parks on a federal agent while hauling freight. IRRESPONSIBLE!

The cops acted the way they did because there job can be really hard sometimes and the last person they'd expect sheet from is a PROFESSIONAL DRIVER.

I understand the constitutional rights etc etc etc but what's the point in playing that game with border patrol who was asking a simple question.

 

I don't know if that was sarcasm, but that's an ignorant generalization.
This driver obviously planned on doing this, for what reason I'm not sure. Perhaps he was bored, seeking internet fame or wanted to quit/get fired creatively. In any case he got what he deserved.
It didn't serve any cause except for his own selfish attention seeking ego.

 

I was a green card holder for about 20 years, got to the point of just answering "yes" when they asked if I was a citizen. As a matter of fact, used to go to Canada routinely on my drivers license and SS card.

Tell them what they expect to hear, and on you go.

That was just dumb. It's Border Patrol, not DOT, they just want to know if you're smuggling something.....so let them look and be on your way. If they didn't find anything then it seems to me the driver had no reason to mess with them.....he was just being weird. JMO
