Yeah life is hard, boo hoo. We still live in the greatest richest country in the history of the world, with more opportunities than any person in the past has ever had. I understand not having a clear direction to go. But man I'm sick of people crying on the Internet. No one who's driving a big rig 3000 miles a week making 100,000 plus a year has time to cry on the Internet because their panties that got delivered to their door by Amazon are slightly too tight in the groinal region.
I'd bet $100 this person has a bad diet, spends at a minimum triple the amount of time on their phone as they do at the gym, and probably watches other grown men play video games or open packs of Pokemon cards on YouTube for hours every week.homeskillet, 201 and TripleSix Thank this. -
Light has a "spectrum".
Invisible light at one end, through the visible light spectrum, to invisible light at the other end.
If autism has a "spectrum", that means EVERYBODY'S on it to some degree.
Y'know what I've been hearing my whole life?........."Why did you do it like THAT?"
To which I would reply, "Because it makes sense to me, and I got the job done".
Apparently, my brain doesn't work the same as everyone else's.
But I'll be dipped if I'm going to hide behind a label that I hung on myself, to justify deciding to be a bum.
I wish you every success......Trucker61016, The_vett, Sons Hero and 2 others Thank this. -

Dude go otr. Live in the truck for a couple years and save everything you make. Even if you hate trucking you'll be in a much better financial situation and will have the means and the time to hit the pause button and pursue something else. Or, you may find you love trucking and stick with it. You can get your cdl in a couple weeks and recoup your investment very quickly.
Chinatown Thanks this. -

There are people out there with no arms or legs. Literally just a torso and a head. They are so determined to live their best life that it's truly amazing to see the way they adapt without depending on others constantly. When you see their iron will, it makes most people's whining seem quite trivial.
rollin coal, TripleSix, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -
I don’t think I have ever seen one of those head and torso people whine. Spud Webb wanted to play basketball. Ozzy couldn’t sing like Freddie Mercury, but he’s the Prince of Darkness. Teddy Roosevelt was sickly and weak as a child but through sheer will, made himself the toughest President this side of Old Hickory.
You can do anything you set your mind to EXCEPT whine and throw pity parties.
