I over heated mine and cracked the head. I went ahead and had an inframe done. That was at 1.1 million miles. Truck is now at almost 1.6 million and other than an ECM issue,.. it has not been towed or in the shop for a mechanical failure since the inframe. That was about 3 yrs ago. No EGR, No DPF, No DEF,.. no problems. Great engine. As long as you keep your foot out of it,.. doesnt do too bad on fuel. Chances are thats why the head is off.</p><p><br /></p><p>Twin turbos are fine with me. PITA t work around,.. but if they are already there and working,..
