Received an offer after being off the road a few years and need some input...
Regional covering Eastern 37 states. No New York city. Weekly - bi-weekly home time.
Pods acct. covering all 48 - 3 weeks out minimum.
Teaming covering all 48 - Bi - weekly home time, generous sign on bonus
Each has a sign on bonus, etc. As far as i know i must commute to terminal during home time. No taking truck home.
I live within 50 miles of the Charlotte terminal.
I believe Opus on here and several others have Schneider exp. so suggestions from these would be appreciated.
What say you drivers on Schneider - Regional, Pods acct., Teaming?

Well, a couple of things.....
First, 50 miles to the Charlotte terminal ain't that big of a deal. Think about it.....if you lived 10 miles from your job, you'd rack up 100+/- miles a week.
Second, if you have choices, take what fits you best.
TAKE WHAT FITS YOU BEST.
@gentleroger might have some better advice.
Best wishes. Schneider is a pretty good company.nextgentrucker, Lonesome and gentleroger Thank this. -
10 - 4 on that. I'm leaning hard toward the regional.

I would go regional. PODs account seemed to have very high turnover. I would not team (unless I was bringing my own codriver).nextgentrucker, Lonesome, Opus and 1 other person Thank this.

I love my wife more than anything in the world, but I would not team with her.Knucklehead, Sons Hero, Speedy356 and 4 others Thank this.

Many/most of Schneider's terminals (also) have cafeterias -- that will cook menu items to order; I always thought their food was pretty good....& also fairly priced.
At Schneider -- you are indeed "captain of the ship" -- so....if the weather &/or road conditions are not what you consider to be safe -- PARK IT!
The number of different accounts & freight types at Schneider is truly amazing -- it's almost kinda like a "super buffet"....of different opportunities. If you should decide one job sux -- you could just pivot to another. It's a great place to rack up experience with different freight types....& build a trucking resume.

Copy that. Thanks...

Schneider also calls their instructors "training engineers" -- I never met one that I was not impressed with....very professional, & very knowledgeable -- a great learning resource.
When a training engineer speaks -- you're better off listening.
