Looking at rotomolded coolers for a little food storage. Company has battery apu's with freightliner's smart park or what ever it is. Was looking at a 26 quart cooler wondering if that would be a good enough size for one person for 5 days at a time.
What size cooler for regional work

How hard is it getting the 40 quart cooler in and out of the truck?

The truck does not have a refrigerator in it?

Im home weekly or more. I use the 40qt Coleman as my fridge. I keep it in the truck and treat it as a permanent fixture so getting it in and out doesn't effect me.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
How do you go about draining off the water from the ice melting? -
Bean Jr. Thanks this.

Oh I understand what you meant now, from what I'm seeing with the battery apu's they don't support ac/heat and a fridge very well at the same time. So I was going for a cooler and ice to prioritize the heat and ac -
I've never dealt with an app. I know.my truck will operate the cooler on battery alone for more than a day. And it holds temp well enough you could get away with unplugging it while sleep, which I've done as well.
I didn't enjoy lugging ice. It gets expensive and it's just a general pain in the ###. To each their own however. Good luck regardlessBean Jr. and GettingRolling Thank this.
