I was at the TA truck stop in Prescott Arkansas today. Was approached by another driver holding a logistics strap. At least I think that's what they are called, used inside vans/ reefers for load securement. He told me the t-bolt ( again, may be wrong name but you can figure it out)on one of his fuel tank straps had broken and wanted me to show him how to use the logistic strap to hold up his fuel tank. I declined.
What the heck!!

So a driver was trying to make a temp fix on his truck and you decided not to help him?
Great story. -
Cut one end off so you can feed the strap through the "hook" on the other end. There is a gap where the strap hooks/loops around an "eye", there is enough room to fit a strap through and make a choke out of it.
Better to just back away slowly.stwik, Odin's Rabid Dog, okiedokie and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well I’m just too stupid to add a quote while editing a post. Oh well!
