Get a red one. Red trucks are the best trucks.

I bought with cash the truck and trailer. I purchased the equipment i will need to do the work im interested in and have experience in. What line of work are you going into? It helps to decide which tool you need to buy.

Wait ... what do you mean you may not be driving the thing?

You another one of these wannabe fleet owners?

The best truck for u is a company truck, paid for by somebody else, while u learn this industry inside and out, then if u still have that thought to buy ur own truck just hit urself in the head with a hammer until it goes away

    Tb0n3 Thanks this.

Well I suspect the next few years the market will be flooded with cheap used equipment. Carry on

I’m not going to tell you to buy or not...but do you have any idea what you’re thinking of getting into? There’s more to this than buying a truck

Buying the truck is the easy part. There's a world of rules and regulations and taxes and permits and insurance and legalities to wade through before you ever haul your first load.
A single truck owner operator is the most unforgiving business I can think of.
Read the Owner Operator section on TTR. Watch the guys who know what they're doing. Pay attention to what they have to go through just to stay in business.
I echo what the majority here have told you. Drive somebody else's truck for at least a couple of years before you buy your own.

Just passing by and Pete jockey Thank this.

This has to be a troll. If by some insane chance he’s serious, then he’s gonna be a broke troll by the time this is all over.

I am looking into local runs, not over the road. Thinking that the mileage would be in the neighborhood of 250k a year.
