I was at flying I in NEW CANEY, TX
I pull up to the fuel lane I wanted. A bobtail was sitting there after waiting almost 10min he comes out store with bags, food, and ice. He pull up 2 the line and stop. I pull up and get fuel it took about 10min or so. now mind u the bobtail is still sitting there. I get in my Trk start 2 pull forward. The dude did not move. Any normal driver would have moved and let me 2 the line. I wait couple more minutes Caz everybody move in there own time for getting ready 2 drive. This dude refused 2 move still so I get out knock on door tell him 2 let me out I got a delivery time 2 meet. This driver looked at me locked his door and turned his back 2 the window and continued 2 eat his pizza. I went in flying I 2 get manager so they can make him move 2 let me out. It took that manager, me and other pissed off drivers 2 convince him 2 move. He say he was on his 30min break he couldn't move. By this time I was ready 2 go 2 jail. It took me 45min 2 get off that fuel line because of that driver. The only reason he moved they told him they were gone call the police on him. And my company said get Trk number and they would handle it from their end and 2 gone 2 my delivery and if I be late they gone go after Schidner. Oh yea when I finally did get out I pull around him and he look at me real stupid I bet he called me all kinds of names just like I did him. He made my blood pressure go up. I just didn't get it all he had 2 do is pull forward less than a truck length 2 get in parking spot.
What would u have done!!!!!!!!

Rather than have an aneurysm, I would have backed out & been on my way giving it no more thought than the 500 4-wheelers that cut into my braking zone throughout the day...

I think you did the right thing. Backing out of a fuel island lane can be very dangerous especially if you already moved forward from the pump. People think the world revolves around them and society owes them something.

I needed a guy to move so I could back in a parking place a while back , he cussed me out ,

It must be a Schneider thing. One time at a Marathon im going around the building and was going to park till I seen how small the lot was so I went elsewhere to use a restroom. So anyway a Schneider was right in the way,I could not get past him no matter how wide I swung without hitting the building. So I get out and ask the driver politely to move,he looked at me a few minutes real stupid like and he kept saying hes on his 10 hr brk and cannot move. That went on about v10 minutes, finally I blew up and he moved. If that Schneider at the flying j was on his half hr brk,why take it at the fuel lane, was he that lazy he couldn't park it then walk up and feed his face.Hopefully your company turns him in and Schneider post something on the qualcomms for all the drivers.I imagine this type of thing happens with all elog companies.Drivers are afraid to even move an inch fearing they'll trigger the elogs.Well that's fine and dandy but please take your brk other then at a fuel island or anywhere that youre in the drivers way.

I have backed out of situations like this many times and may have in this case depending how much room is behind me.

Is this the first time this has happened to you?? Its a regular thing when ever I fuel at any of the big chain truck stops. You do need to work on better trip planning though if those few minutes would make you late, #### happens and you need to prepare for it.
double yellow Thanks this. -
Lock your truck. Walk around the front to his R-side steer and squat down like you're letting air out of the tire. When he gets out, run around the back of the truck. He'll stop to see what you did to his tire. Jump in his truck, lock the door, pull forward.
