whats a good trucking company to start with on the west coast? cdl for a year

Despite what the name would lead you to believe, Western Express is headquartered in Nashville, TN. It also is not a good company to start with.

 

where do you live and dont reapeat west cost that dosent help

If you want to be local and have Hazmat and doubles endorsement. Reddaway will hire you as a city driver. M-F day shift.

 

I know May Trucking is out west and they guarantee at me a st $500 paycheck a week for your 1st year and only do side by side training rather than dangerous "team" style training. I almost went there.

 

Fontana, California is a major trucking location. If you're close enough, make a visit and nose around for names and such. Then come back to TTR to see what the names mean.

Western Express is not a good starter company. Not, not, not.

 

Their website makes you think they are good. But they are terrible.

 

Do you already have a CDL or do you need to attend driving school? If you still need school, do you have the money to do it on your own, or do you need a company to put you through their school? A few things to consider.
