The technocrats and bureaucrats will never give up their business jets and bomb proof SUV’s.

Will eventually need fewer drivers as quantity of fuel lessons but that'll take time to happen.

When something bad happens with a fuel truck it makes the news. A regular truck flips it only matters if it messes with the commute. Some drivers are scared of doing fuel. I feel more safe in a fuel truck then anything else. But movies make everyone think they're just waiting to explode. That's great, it just means less drivers are willing to do the job.
You actually have to do a little work slinging the hoses. Again many don't want to or can't do this. All adds up to only so many drivers out there for the job.
Enjoy knowing that your boss needs you more than you need them. It's a good feeling.

Its not the fuel blowing up that scares me, its $850 gross per week local companies pay that send chills up my spine.

    How is that possible !?!
Do they work only a few days a week?
The liability on the driver should demand more than that.

Someone is going to "stop the steal".
    I wouldn't worry about it.

Typical South Florida local pay. I didn't actually work for the company, they had that listed on an ad.

    Yes, you should be worried.
    We should all be worried.
    This ain't 1950 or 1970 America,
Those beliefs are gone, we're moving in a different direction.

To an illegal immigrant who barely speaks English, that's a fortune!
We'll see a lot more of that, plus an increase number of crashes and spills, with the new administration that's going to knock down the wall and flood the country with them.

Oh boy here we go again... Blame immigrants. Last time I checked you have to be at least US resident to drive a truck.
    Trump wall sure helps
