Their Mommas are the ones to blame. :yes2557:

You see, when they were little babies, and crying for attention, their Momma wasn't paying close attention and stuck that pacifier in the wrong hole. The poor souls ain't been right since. :biggrin_25517:

Just bored truckers. I've heard them all but the worst offenders of 'noise' on the cb are the ones who sing or play songs on the radio. Run into it alot around Chicago for some reason. The worst is when some sad and lonely driver looking for some attention will 'treat' you with their rendition of some song that they think is wonderful (it's usually not). They will sing like they're trying out for American Idol with all the emotion and inflection that they feel is proper for this great song, and then after you have suffered through it, some yahoo comes on and tells them how great their slightly offkey rendition was. This usually results in an encore and that's when I turn the radio off for awhile. The radio is supposed to be used for communication and I keep it on to be aware of conditions up ahead so I don't run into any unpleasant surprises on my travels, but these idiots make it tough to keep it on. I'd rather hear about the state of some trucker's underwear than hear those self appointed 'singers' anyday.

I was always a fan of "whiporwill" down in west virginia...

his drunken cb rampages that started around 10pm were LEGEND on I77 way back when...

he had a base station and amp - would get wasted then start talking smack with anyone who would argue...

man - I wish I had some of his crap on recording... *mops brow*

    he was vicious!
