I'm just tired of pulling into these places that used to be good for a real plate of food but aren't anymore due to covid.
I need to know which places on I-20 are a safe bet that I won't go hungry working night shift.
Where are the good truck stops on I-20 in Louisiana?

You'll have to plan a little better if you're driving at night. Covid plus understaffed places equals early closings. Traveling at night, you'll be limited to hot dogs and chips, and the hot dogs may be a stretch

At exit 38 in Minden, Louisiana is Wally's Quick Stop. Head south coming from either direction
and it will easy to spot on the west side of the road. The restaurant is only open from 6 AM to
5 PM, so get there early, however. It's called the Cajun Bee Diner.
At exit 49 in Minden is Sam's Minden Truck Stop. Head north from the interstate and it will be
on the east side past a few other truck stops. Their restaurant, Sam's Cajun Cafe, is open from
9 AM to 9 PM.
Finally, at exit 103 in Calhoun is the 103 Travel Plaza that has a nice little cafe with no name.
It doesn't close until 11 PM, so if you're traveling late, this is your best bet.Gearjammin' Penguin and navypoppop Thank this. -
Hope those three help you out. Unfortunately, I can't think of any good Mom-and-Pop place
that is open 24 hours anymore. Even the mega-chains have started closing the restaurants
around 8 or 9. You may end up getting something from the deli or roller grill, I hate to say.navypoppop Thanks this.
