At the Hook in Charlestown, MO. Loaded north of Dayton OH at zero-too-early this morning. Loader had us all stacked up, but I got an hour of detention out of it. Heading for metro Dallas, TX to deliver.

Well, there's no authentic Mexican taco trucks here, so I guess it's either Huddle House, "J-Za", or a can of soup in the truck.

I'm a-run in and check out the HH waitresses first, then I can plan and execute.

I sure am in the mood for one of those truck tacos, though.......

Finished all the loads this morning, swept 2 trailers, moved trailers around and DSP was trying to find a load... cause he didn't know I would be available that early...
And then, another driver needed repower... I was about 80 miles away... So, I took my empty to Freightliner in Harrisburg where he was and swapped trailers...
This delivery will be in NJ.... No place to park around there... So, I parked at a service plaza about 1:30 hrs away... which is the closest place... :biggrin_2552:
And this delivery was rescheduled for noon tomorrow... :biggrin_1square8:
And the reload will be between 1 pm and 4 pm about 28 miles away from there... which may take at least one hr to get there due to the freakin traffic in that area.... :angry2:
And after loaded in NJ it will be late and hard to find a place to park... :angry1:

I feel your pain. I had a “taco” in Oregon recently. I wanted to fight the guy who made it.

Nothing like a sketchy coach with meat of unknown origin to really bring out the flavor of a taco.

    ####. I want a taco now.

I’m going to check that out.

There’s a good one at the Buttonwillow exit TA as well next to the motel 6. It’s approved as excellent real mexi food by Otter.

There was a REALLY GOOD, authentic Mexican-made taco truck in Albany, NY. A bunch of food trucks park around the Empire State Plaza every day from about 1030 to 1530 to feed the workers at the state capital complex.

Good stuff, and not too far a walk from the Albany Port Truck Plaza.
