You could probably call any large real estate company and get some advice/help. Just tell them your situation and what you are wanting to do.
Remaxx, Century 21, Berkshire&Hathaway, Keller Williams, Prudential, people like that.
Not saying you need to use this particular one, just an Idea of where and how to start.

Emptied out in Dallas. Not looking good for any local work. May just take a day or two off
BOO!, Rocks and MagnumaMoose Thank this. -
I just got in from a nother Prudhoie run, except this time I hitched a ride back for the first time ever, left my truck buried in the tundra, fairly certain it is totaled.
The old saying on this road is, it is not a matter of if, but a matter of when, it seems like my when got here. lol -
I think my record for a hotel stay (and air travel) was when I was on the HP expense account. One day I was working in my home office, minding my own business, and got summoned to attend a big meeting in Stamford CT. Earliest flight out the next morning ATL to JFK was $900. There was a UN thing going on in NYC and all the hotels in 50 miles were booked. I had platinum status with Marriott, and one perk was they held two rooms in every property for platinum guests, in case they booked full. They had a room at the Westin for $600 LOL. What was funny about that was the customer we were visiting was Starwood. They've merged since then, but were fierce competitors then. I mentioned my dilemma to an account manager and they got me into a Sheraton for $300. If I had to guess, they probably kicked out a no-status guest to make it available LOL. -

may have to head to Houston. Been about a hour and no load info. I’m hoping they found someone cheaper

because of all the paperwork and authorizations I will need from the government, and the money for fees and taxes, etc, etc... and the time and headache it will take just for that... it might take months... yeah.. the freakin Brazilian bureaucracy...
not to mention the hassle and time dealing with workers to clean the land and getting rid of the debris.... it might take half a year... here in Brasil....? Oh yeah....
and I am not making any money now... I am only spending... I must save whatever I can....
The hotels here sell "packages" to corporate customers and offer them a much "better" price... during Holiday Season, non-corporate customers have to pay sky high prices...
But HEY! I ended up renting a furnished one bedroom apartment, in good location for R$2.000,00 or U$500.00 a month... and they will hold this price till Dec/20... And I can leave whenever I want...Only thing is that they don't provide bed linens, and blankets but I can get that with a friend here.. and the hotel doesn't provide room service... but I can take care of that... or pay them R$120,00 for a cleaning.... And they don't provide breakfast... but that's no problem for me either.... I can buy some fruits and milk... I can even cook on their stove if I so desire...
