Seriously, you have to work Saturday? Please tell me I'm not mistaken and today is only Thursday. It was far from a typical Friday today. Normally, dispatch would be done by 0630 at the latest; I finally got it done at about 1030, then the boss and I worked together to get all the other work done on the drivers. I was just set to leave at 1330 when one of the drivers called to say she couldn't do the Monday load I assigned her because she wouldn't have enough time to get from home, to here for her load and back to the delivery. I finally got out at 1400.

now I gotta go dang nab it
just the way it is huh

I had been running hard but may have to slow down now... because of this freaking new HOS.... Will be in UT tomorrow and will dlvr on Sunday morning and will have about 28 from my 70... Then, not sure what will be next. DSP may not be working this weekend and I may have to wait till Monday to see what will be next.... So, I may take the rest of Sun off.... Anyway... going to bed.... Want to start driving at 2 am central time. Oh... I am at another rest area in NE. VERY quiet here....

 

One of these days, Pete. I got home and immediately left again. Kenny wanted to go get a small air compressor and look at a glider for the patio. Of course, the gliders were all gone. I finally got back home about 1630.

Hiya Miss Patty. I've heard that Great Mall is nearly empty. It was a big deal back when it opened, I was surprised to read recently that it was in such a state.

TB: Nope, no Saturday work. To get to the new place, I have to go N on I/49 to Hickman Mills, then Indiana off of 85th. Currently loaded to head back up there on Monday.

 

Oh DEARY me. It was an only THREE Friday. I do not believe Roland would have left me sitting 3 hours after the first drop at SDV, And then ANOTHER 3 hours before number 3

To say I came home a bit steamed would be the understatement of the YEAR!

 

Back in OKC at nearly the same place I was last night, except now have smushed bugs on my used to be nice clean truck, and a frozen load in the wagon. Got tires rotated 'n balanced 'n stuff.
