Hey Iron.... your attachment doesn't work...

I am back at that same truck stop in UT after my dlvery this morning. I was fortunate to find a spot... there were a couple earlier today. Now this place is totally packed! Trucks parked at no-parking spots, every little corner has a bobtail.... I hope everybody leaves early tomorrow morning... so when it's time for me to leave, it will be easy.

Hey Teddy! The weather was nice this morning too but now it's clouded. I didn't see any snow yet.... Thank GOD! Hope I am sent to a warm place... Just want to enjoy a little more of the warm weather before the dreadful winter starts. :biggrin_2552: At least this truck is very well insulated and it has an APU and a bunk heater. :biggrin_25519:

Fixed! Back home after a quick jaunt over to Waterloo to spend an evening with a certain flight attendant. The restaurant was in this cool old building, the Russel Lamson. It was even more impressive in person. And the lasagna was as good as Noni's homemade pasta from when I was a kid!

Hmmmmm.... lasagna... did anybody say lasagna?.... :biggrin_25519: Hmmmm.... There's a Denny's at this truck stop here.... I wonder if they have lasagna.... if so, it may have meat in it... :biggrin_2552: But even if it doesn't... I don't trust their tomato sauce... there's sugar and lots of chemicals in that sauce that I don't eat... So, I better stick with my homemade brown rice and stew of vegetables that I cooked earlier.
Very nice place that one, Hammer... I guess that was one expensive dinner...

Only $50 for two, with appetizer and tip, no worse than Olive Garden, and everything from scratch on site, including the salad dressings. The spinach artichoke dip was unreal, and the bread excellent as well. They had a few no meat items on the menu, too.

@ Home. Had a good weekend with family in Kenora Ontario. My new job is Monday to Friday no weekends. I got back to the yard at 1pm Friday afternoon. I washed the truck, cleaned inside, filled the DEF and fuel tanks, double checked my trailer set was good to go and parked it. I was on my way home at 4pm. I have a 1 hour drive from the yard to my place in Winnipeg but I'm staying at my in-laws house during the week which is only 5 minutes from the yard so I'm technically "home" most nights of the week. Tommorow I'm up early and going to Watson sk to pick up a load of Ammonium nitrate to take to Elm creek Manitoba for a Tuesday morning delivery. Then I will be hauling a load of Sulphur from Brandon mb back to St Leon mb. Not sure what's on for the rest of the week after that.
