Just givin a word of advice to all the newbies out here.

 

You askin me or any number of a thousand other drivers on here? If its me I'm still in Laredo trying to figure out if I need to dodge the scales with this 7000 pound load or not.

 

Had an interesting week.... Kinda sorta stretched my legs a little. Went to AR, then back to KY, (no Tim I was not issued a gas mask but was greeted by a shotgun). Then off to load part of a crane, in the middle of nowhere KY. Was on several roads I'm sure I wasn't supposed to be on, crossed a bridge I know I wasn't allowed on..... (the guy who stopped and backed off the bridge while I was coming across confirmed that).

Took the crane over just north of Charlotte, then dropped down to Columbia, SC for a load of brick, that I tarped in 100* temps! Don't know what the heat index was, but really F'n hot sums it up. Delivered that in PA and now home.......
