I'm at a hole-in-the-wall fuel stop in Richlands, GA (I think it is...)....

...waiting for support shift to either message me or call asking why I'm taking the rest of tomorrow off after I deliver.

When I explain that on Tuesday, I pick up a whole 3 1/4 hours and would prefer the short Sunday over the short Tuesday, I know they'll just go "Huh??"....

Yeah, no facilities at my little hidey-hole. I think there might be a perkins or some other 24-hour place close by, but it'd be a fair walk.

Owensboro, KY. They sent me up here after dropping in Hopkinsville, only to void the dispatch when they realized they had already sent another driver after the same load. So now I get to go to TN, which is a lot closer to Hopkinsville than Owensboro.

So, you are in Nashville.... I am at a Pilot close to Nashville. Will p/up in Nashville on Monday morning.

 

...and I thought I had found a great place to park at this Pilot... right next to one of the exits and in front of what I thought was a no parking area... Now, I check my window just to find a row of trucks parked right in front of me.... and a reefer to my right.... And there are still empty spaces in the back of this parking lot. But will wait till tomorrow and may move truck to another location so I am able to leave with no difficulty early Monday morning.
