In 2 days I have 3 months flatbed experience. I’m looking to go somewhere else once I get the 6+ months. The pay here is incredibly low. I’m definitely getting below minimum wage. Just asking where I should be looking, and if there’s anywhere I could go sooner I would probably do it. I would be open to switching off of flatbed and possibly going team. Time for me to think about money.
Where do I go?

If you have to ask, stay where you are. And there's not alot of money anywhere right now. Show some loyalty to the place that gave you a break, and when freight picks up, you can write your own ticket.

"I'm hungry. Where should I eat?"
It depends on where you are at, what you want, how far from terminal you want to commute, where you want to go, how long you want to stay out, how long you have off work when you are off, how much money you need to make, and a hundred other questions.austinmike and Chi Town Steers Thank this. -

Drivers safely & reliably delivering freight without causing problems don't get fired for nothing, very often.
A lot of slacking & unreliable drivers with bad attitudes toward everyone get fired and then claim they were fired for nothing. There are rare cases where the employee of the month drivers gets fired for petty reasons or really bad luck.
You cannot rely on a company's web page or recruiter for accurate info. You need to talk to current working drivers doing the work you will do at a company. Ask to speak to those drivers. If the company wants to hire you they will have drivers call you.
An internet only search plan will usually lead to working somewhere worse than your current job. Companies are not all alike unless you are severely limited with big issues in your background.Thrasher28, Albertaflatbed, TurkeyCreekJackJohnson and 1 other person Thank this. -
