I've got the truck, the experience, I just don't have the autority, the base plate, and the permits. And to top it all off, I don't have any greenbacks to go for it by myself. I'm too old for schooling to be retrained to do something I don't want to do. Trucking is the only outlet I have.
Where is a good place to lease a truck

times a wasting, got to start getting my frame of mind back in sync, be running with a company that will let me run a flatbed around, doing the easy stuff...........so many offerings I'm just gonna pick on the easy one.....lol.

I have my own truck that is payed for. I have two trailers a flat bed & van. i was looking for a good company to lease on with.

The best is your own authority. If I like one company there will be 20 more who disagree. If I dislike 1 there will be 30 more that disagree. Any company you lease to can or can not be good, it all up how you and the company click together.
Big John Thanks this. -
what does it cost to get your own authority, plates, i only have about 4 grand. How long before the money starts to come in.
-
i thought about landstar. Are they a good company

I would go with mercer over landstar.

I think you will need more then $4000 grand to get rolling. Think of fuel, insurance, waiting to get paid 30 - 60 days. Breakdowns etc..... Just my 2 cents.
