I told her I would go out and stand in front of the mail truck while filming and clearly state she has mail....be a d*** move but for Pete's sake, they're in the service industry.

On average, what does a setup like that weight empty and loaded?

@Humblepie just texted and said he saw @wore out truck shut down at the scales on I40. He knocked on the door but he said the truck is unoccupied.

My quick loader was 42900 IMG_20181109_152951836.jpg empty. I imagine this one is about 43k and change. Haven't had time to get an empty weight.
Oh and we usually run between 77k and 80

What's the difference in a quick loader and a high rail?

The " average " is probably going to have a lot of variation. Lots and lots of different types, even though they look similar. I never weighed one of mine empty but my trainer did one and told me it was 52k empty. Bear in mind that it was a homemade enclosed truck and trailer. The company built the enclosure themselves because it wasn't readily available on the open market yet. Out of nowhere the German manufacturers decided that they wanted enclosed transports and the Trucking companies were scrambling to be able to offer the service they were demanding. That's what I was told anyway. That happened several years before I got involved with it. Guessing I'd say around the early 90's ?

So on that set up, how do you load the rack on top of the truck? You drive it up on that lowered top platform, lift the whole thing up and move the car (Cars?) Forward onto the truck deck? Then put it back down below the top lift it up, load the bottom ride? Versus what on the high rail? You have to set it up like a ramp? If I ever saw one load or unload I really wasn’t paying attention.
