Sure thing. If they ask if that's a quote from Rambo you changed around, just say nope, never heard of it.

Bite your tongue. There is no such thing as a backhaul. That word was invented by a broker who had a severe case of the runs and a toothache. Not to be used in public and always at a whisper.

@vikingswen had a running thread of his adventures trucking back and forth to Alaska. Sadly he had medical problems and sold his operation.
Look for "Produce to Alaska" in the Reefer sub forum. Some really good trucker info in there.

I don't know if you've rounded tire chains up for that new truck yet but I would seriously get things squared away in that department before you head up there.
They had a freak (Even for them) snowstorm the middle of August already. A wide swath of northern B.C and the Yukon got 4-6" or more.
Steamboat pass got close to 2 foot on top I was told. There was still a little snow in shady spots when I crossed it heading up.
Always better to have and not need, than to need and not have!
The leaves was turning fast in Alaska and Western Yukon 2 1/2 weeks ago already. She's coming.:confused1:

The best advice I can offer is to just take it easy and enjoy the trip. The Reefer guys that run that road drive insane. I don't know how any of their equipment makes it in one piece much less the freight! I always kinda assumed the Lynden and Fairchild guys that run that road was top hands. More and more I come to realize they are the Swift of the north. Lol.
So when their on your ### just dying to get around keep on doing your own thing. If you don't know the road or have much mountain experience the worst thing you can do is let somebody push you faster than you would normally go.
Loaded light like you are It'll be a piece of cake.

Take lots a pictures and report back!
