A lot of unnecessary tarp jobs are because of broker or company up sells the customer on the tarping. They charge the customer a couple hundred bucks to tarp it, and then don't pay the driver Jack for doing the actual work.

I dropped off steel and some other stuff that the shipper would not let me leave with my bills until the load was tarped. I get to the drop off and they're questioning me "why is the load tarped?"

@farmerjohn64 that's why I told you to get a grass carp when you can, your company should Supply them I think.

There's a steel company in Laredo that requires all loads to be tarped. Why? Because they want it to show up to their customer clean. No other reason.

us60 thru globe and the salt river canyon is a curvy crazy road. If i remeber correctly its 65ft restriction but 48ft trailers are exempt. When u get to a little town called "show low" thats where i used to live.

Something you may want to try.
On your wraps, go over, under and back over.
This gives you the squeeze, but also pulls down. Its a twofer.
