Everybody workin makin me feel lazy. Sun just rose over the Arkansas River. You guys have a great day

 

Went out looking around Sunday, found some rubs and a scrape. And most of the deer in the front yard…. Lol

Yep...Until opening day of Deer Season... Then ya can't find em anywhere

 

There's a new outfitter working this part of the ranch this year. He came in on Tuesday and locked a gate that shouldn't be locked, left another one open and blocked a road with his pickup when he unloaded his side by side.

I caught up to him to have a talk and he didn't seem to understand where he went wrong. I also told him we've had cows in this section all summer and we haven't seen a deer since June. Said he wanted to go look anyway. I told him if he does see one he better act fast, we're moving 400 head through first thing Friday morning.

 

It’s not even cool enough to run the snakes off here and we need a good rain/snow event to settle the dust before I get to excited
