Naw,
the guy I'm working with running seed & hopper had a extra truck sitting in the shed with no driver.. Just on loan till I round up all the parts to get mine back together.

 

What's wrong with your truck, I guess I missed something.

 

This things been pretty jumpy for the last 3 yrs imo.

Stopped for fuel in Valley Grove, WV & clutch pedal went to the floor, no disengage. Seen a piece a spring & some other metal bits in the bell housing. Limped it in & just got it apart today.
About what we expected..

Freightliner claims my clutch is obsolete, so gonna try make an easy pedal fit
Thing looks wore the heck out either way.. lol

 

You got the good out of that one. It's not cheap, but could have been a lot worse. You made it in without a tow bill and once you find the parts that's a fairly easy fix. Good luck getting it going again. Don't get too spoiled with that powerhouse you're driving now.

 

I had a driver end up in the hospital on Thursday after he got bit by a North Carolina Sand Spider. While it may not be terribly venomous it is toxic to some.

He was released yesterday just to go check
Into a hotel and go back to bed. I don't know what he would do without door dash.
They even brought his prescriptions.

 

Definitely got the use out of it. You gonna have to go to a different style flywheel? That is an odd looking pressure plate, is it a 14" clutch?

Thinking back, it seems like the N14 used a dished flywheel too. Maybe @OLDSKOOLERnWV has some info.

I've had guys mention using it on the road to bring parts, groceries, and food. Pretty handy. Hope he gets better quick.

Any word from your flunky who couldn't get in gear, or his dad?

 

I offered to fly in and bring him home but he said he would rather lay there and get better.
This morning he had a .craving for hot pepper chicken and rice soup. (Guaranteed to kill what ails you.) I guess that means he is getting better.

As for the kid and his dad. No, I have only heard from his wife. She is concerned that their finances will take a hit if he doesn't hurry and lease on somewhere.

I thought, didn't say it out loud, not my problem. She is trying to be the go between and "fix it", she needs to stop.
