That was ARI's 'ballpark figure' for rolling a truck in and replacing one or installing one - I think generator included.

I walked over there from Mr. Wrench when I had the generator overhauled to buy a shore power cable.

When I asked maybe 6 years ago it was $50k for a 120" without generator or appliances. Generators are about $12k for them now.

 

That and the guys who block off one side of their nose and blow out the other side in the sink, you know that crap goes everywhere…..

 

In the sink!?! I get sawdust up there all the time, that’s an outside activity. If you find yourself near a sink, you are probably near tp or paper towel. That is freaking nasty

 

F em. They have come over here apparently illegally, they refuse to learn the language the refuse to follow the rules they drive like they are still in India. And they may wash their feet, but they sure as shooting don’t wash their armpits. They have taken a once decent industry and turned truck stops into a third world dump. I wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire.

 

The med cards and random testing are 100% legit though?

 

Exactly, most of us carry paper towels in the trucks too, that can be taken care of in the truck most cases…

 

They can be quite nasty, not all but many. Those I’ve encountered at shippers with the attitude of “my religion” won’t allow me to wear a hard hat really get attention, I’ve experienced that personally….

 

The 1961 B model IH has been setting in a shed out of the weather for a good 10 years, going to go out and see if it will come to life….

I’m digging on that 4 digit phone number on the key tag, only had to dial four digits on the rotary until I was around 10.
