@sawmill I agree. That cooler is unhandy mounted under there where the factory puts it. I had something bound off the road and busted mine. I bought a little hydraulic cooler with the electric fan and made a bracket. Mounted it to the bottom of my bunk above the transmission.

You do good work, ain't nothing stops you from getting your projects done.

I might mount a small electric fan to it if it runs hotter than I like.

Thanks for the idea. *tips hat*

You'll have to excuse the mess and road garbage underneath, but heres how I did mine (not that it's any better than what you did) just thought I'd share incase someone else needs an idea and cant use the pass step box area.

Fan sets on top but you cant really see it in the pic. I wanted to put mine where you did, but my hydraulic tank and cooler set in the pass box and I have lines going in there.

I like that. Looks sturdy. I mounted the condenser and fan for my APU in the same way under the catwalk. Couldn't stand the thought of mounting to the back of the sleeper.

I just made me up a little bracket outta angle iron. Kinda a rush job but it works. Its wired to my factory spare switch in the dash so it dont look bad.

I agree 100% bout not wanting to mounting the condenser to the back of the cab. I really am not a fan of that idea either

@sawmill @ShooterK2 @Zeviander and our other tank guys, I never liked the way a hydrapak cooler looked on a truck that had nice frame rail. I think it messes up a nice clean look. My frame is in good shape and I couldn't bare the idea of mounting a hydrapak cooler to it, so I came up with this. I dont know if I ever showed you guys.
