    Or AKA turn stalk module.

Well, I'll tell you where it is to maybe save someone else from going through the same efforts I've just went through.

Don't pay any attention to "it's in the middle of the dash behind the guage panel". Or, "in the middle above the fuse panel" (fuse panel isn't in the middle). Or even the "it's located behind the cup holder on a removable mount".

It's just to the right of the steering column. As low as it can be inside the dash. Mounted to the bottom of the dash. Under all that dirt, dog hair, and gobs of wiring.

    Good luck!

    FOLLOW UP:

I pulled the module and cleaned it. There are 2 screws to open it up. Mine was pretty clean on the inside. Just a few specs of dust that I brushed out.

I reassembled it and went after cleaning all of those little connectors. Mine had a bluish corrosion on most of them. I used a small jewelers file (a small flat screwdriver would probably work) to gently scrape the crude off of each one.

I did not, however, have a decent way to clean the plugs.

I applied dielectric grease and reinstalled it back in my truck. The erratic behavior my right side turn signals were having has not reappeared. But, it's only been a week thus far. Hoping it keeps working like it's supposed to. But time will tell.

DeOxit is the cleaner to use.
