A few of you had asked me to let you know where I ended up landing after my departure from TMC in March. I took a couple weeks off and went to Phoenix bike week with some buddies and in mid-April was asked to help out a local company who had just had a driver quit with no notice. One of the owners is a cousin to my wife and I had some interest in the company so I told them I would do it until I found something that paid a bit better or they found a replacement.
I have been driving a single axle straight tanker delivering fuel products for the last 7-8 weeks but am moving up to transport driver in the next couple of months after we find a replacement for what I am doing now. That will put me hauling fuel (gas and propane) from the various terminals to gas stations and such. It will also get me back to right around where the starting wage at TMC was with better benefits and home every night.
So if any of you are in northern MI and see a Fick and Sons truck, wave as you never know, it might be me!!We own the truck stop at 4 mile road just south of Grayling, MI and I see a lot of TMC trucks.
Where is Toona67 now....... :)

My office is downtown Grayling but I load a few products out of there now and then.
We are looking for a CDL B driver with an X endorsement and air brakes if anyone up north is looking.91B20H8 Thanks this. -
I may know of somebody he has tank but he does not have Hazmat yet. It would all depend on compensation as to whether he would want to come off the road or not. I'll pm so as to not get this thread locked
Toona67 Thanks this.
