There isn't a driver shortage, so there is no problem

It is an opertunity to move more stuff by rail.

But I have no heard of massive amounts of solo drivers sitting for a full reset at truck stops, have you?

    Gumper Thanks this.

The industry is full of drivers at megas complaining of 2,000 mile weeks and practically starving to death. This is simply one finite pie being split too many ways. Granted many of them are home regularly, too.

They whine for lack of miles as much as they whine about too many miles and a host of other whine warranted complaints,'
Unlike puppies who quit whining after 6 months truckers never quit whining.

I bet there's 50,000 trucks sitting in Phoenix. Dallas. Salt lake city. Ontario. And other places waiting to load up and go somewhere.

As for amazon raising fees $20. Has absolutely nothing to do with trucks. They want to hire more movie stars.

    rank and joesmoothdog Thank this.
